About Us

Established in 1986, Dinky Doo Nursery School is undisputedly one of the most well known childcare providers in Oxford. 

Originally based in Bullingdon Road and then Stanley Road, both in East Oxford, the Nursery School now operates from a single-story purpose-built centre, set in the of private grounds of The Dragon School in Bardwell Road, Oxford.

Although we are situated within the grounds of the Dragon School, we are an independently run Nursery School owned by myself, the Principal – Sara Mander.

The Nursery is open from 8:30 to 5:30, Monday to Friday, and provides excellent care and education for children aged three months to five years of age.

Facilities include an array of toys and equipment, including computers with the latest educational software, providing children with an exposure to IT from an early age.

Outside there is a large private garden and a playground safely tucked away from all motor vehicle access.

Dinky Doo also have the use of all the Dragon School grounds.

Healthy food is prepared on a daily basis using quality ingredients.  Meals and snacks are served four times a day.  In instances where your child has a special dietary need, our chef will be advised of your child's requirements and appropriate meals will be provided accordingly.
 
With a policy of on-going training, our staff are kept up to date with best practice, and are able to develop their careers at the nursery. We are passionate about providing quality care and education for young children.  The care and support your child receives in the early years, shapes the rest of their life!
